There are people who enjoy their headcanons more than the "official" canon and you can't do shit about it. Especially when it's about pokémon, which barely gives you any interesting info to work with. I don't give a shit if Gamefreak created pokémon, they're fucking hacks who couldn't write good lore to save their lives.
