>>26597300They could also have a "ABLE/NOT ABLE" tag float above pokemon when you give them the mega stone, similar to evolution stones, or have all of the able pokemon in your party highlighted when you click on the item.
I think it will take some fun away from finding all sorts of mega stones in the game, but after a certain point it would plain be tedious to find 60-80 of them.
It would also be nice to know what new pokemon can mega evolve and test them out sooner rather than later
