Considering Solgaleo is descirbed as "devouring the sun" exactly like in Alchemy could Alchemy be the answer to the lore behind new legends? And what Zygarde and Azoth (another term straight from alchemy) have to do with all of this?

There is no such thing as anime exclusive. Pokemon anime exists to promote the games. Thats all there is to it. Sometimes the anime gets an early reveal that later on appears in the game (Lugia, Lucario, Zoroark, Mega Mewtwo Y, Perfect Zygarde, Magearna)

We don't know that yet, meaning absence of evidence.

That's not anime stuff, nerd.
Anyway, there are loads of theories that tie in Kalos with another region and they hold ground.
Hoopa teleports everything from mons to whole islands, for example. Hoopa might have a major role in S/M, that's one of the theories as an example.
We can't say for sure with this little info, we don't have any story info yet.

Gamefreak does not care about regions. They can put Zygarde wherever they please. Plus there's a big tree on the island to the west, which could be the place where you change its forms.

In the anime, Team Flare was using Zygarde cells to disrupt the ecosystem and create enormous mutant trees and other crazy shit. Maybe its ability will increase the stats of your entire team, or allow multiple Megas on your team, or something?
