Fast and fragile Pokemon live and die by their STAB moves.Floatzel's biggest problem is its lack of a good one until absurdly late in the game. Other things on my team had at least somewhat powerful moves, most of which in the same type coverage that Floatzel had. It struggled to tickle anything and got two or three shot by most stuff back. It was a wonder I even evolved Buizel, given I was trying to scratch things with water gun and swift.
