It just seems like a not very interesting feature. I can see why they did it, I'm sure it'll be fuckin great for brand deals and what not. Slap that shit on your local orange juice, next minute a bunch of pokenerds are buying Tropicana for them sweet codes/pokemon association.
Not a lot of info on it so far, so I suppose it could turn into something interesting depending on what they do. Unlikely though, GF is the king of squandered potential.
