I have only watched up to Zephyr Badge and never saw origins

Of these the only one I thought was really good was Ash vs Drake from Orange Islands

Next would be that one chick with that super Bellsprout.

I think Ash v Blane II is a pretty overrated battle

Actually, Pokémon: The Origin was a complete disappointment. Only four episodes, a rushed story and one entire episode wasted in that Marowak shit with an animation quality worst than actual Pokémon anime.

Of course you can. One shitty battle doesn't negate all of the others, and *certainly* doesn't negate Ash vs. Paul, the best battle in the series.

And honestly, Ash vs. Tobias wasn't even that terrible. It was bullshit, sure, but worse than "Ash loses to friend he makes at the League" four separate times? The Tobias battle was far better than fucking Cameron.

Ash vs Conway is fantastically underrated because everyone just skips to Ash v Paul but people forget how Ash finally got his Gible to master Draco Meteor and how he got it to hit by having Gible bit onto something before using it. Plus it just displayed Ash using great strategy and adapting to great strategy.

I debated putting Ash vs. Korrina Gym Battle up there but decided not to.

Only the 4th episode was really good, and it's because it was animated by the anime's staff.

The other ones were done by Production IG and Xebec. Yes, Xebec.
