stone.To "unlock" the ability to use that specific mega evolution, you have to find it in the field. For example, I want to use Mega Mawile. I have to first find the essence of Mega Mawile. Like finding mega stones in XYORAS, theres a glittering mark on the ground. I step on it and it says something like "Your Keystone has absorbed the essence of Mawile"
This way it cuts down on the evergrowing number of mega stones, but keeps the exploration/collection.
