I mean yeah it's definitely getting a lot of love, but we have to see how it continues in future Gens, if it settles down a bit like Charizard (still getting pandering with shit like extra Megas and Origins but not going full retard) or if it gets shoved down our throats as much as Lucario, like if Gen 8 has a city with a Gym Leader obsessed with Greninja and said city has a giant Greninja statue and you're forced to synchro evolve or fuse with a Greninja as part of the plot (we know actual fusion is an inevitability, Game Freak is looking for whatever gimmick they can try).
