Not him, but it's unlikely that it'd be a Mega unless it was playable, given the track record.

I think it's very possible that all 3 are playable. At least Scizor and Darkrai, anyway. They fit a lot of requirements to be playable, too.

I mean, I don't have nothing against it, I just find it hard to imagine Empoleon fighting in the game.

Then again, we have fucking Suicune over here and it somehow works. We also have a chandelier and that somehow works too.

It's funny because everyone would be predicting something like Greninja or Poliwrath or whatever

Not that guy, but he's literally the most requested character and is also the most popular Pokemon in Japan. I don't even like him much, but they're missing out on free money if they don't add him. Why are people so delusional? There's not even a chance the other two are gonna be anything other than an assist. Darkrai is gonna be playable cuz he's the popular choice, then the other two are gonna be thrown in so now the DLC is a "set". Set being a fighter and an assist set. Plus the fact that Empoleon got picked over other starters that could've been picked is suspicious and leads me to believe assist. And then there's the amount of data Darkrai has that the others don't. It all points to a DLC set of Darkrai fighter + Empoleon/Scizor assist.

Not happy about it by any means, but I think it's accurate.
