Ohmori came up with the PokeWalker and the DPPt Underground, and was a map designer on the games with some of the best regions (gens 3 through 5). He's not a bad guy, his directorial debut in ORAS may have sucked but there were probably external factors at play there. Don't judge him on that alone, one game does not make a pattern.

Ohmori gave us some of the best features Pokemon has ever had. I fully expect Sun and Moon to, if nothing else, have some cool shit in it.

Because HG/SS, Platinum, and B2/W2 were infinitely superior to all of those, and Masuda had minimal input on those ones.

X/Y is Masuda's best contribution to the franchise, and yet it still feels like a Beta for S/M.

Honestly oras wasn't that bad. The Dex nav and soaring were awesome ideas. And for a game where he was literally given a year to develop they did a good job. The lack of post game is more than likely due to time restrictions. That was also the first game he actually directed.

Actual rematches of elite 4/gym leaders/postgame it been better before gen 6, the guys who directed ORAS did some good stuff before this and was the lead designer of the pokewaller too!
