The only games I didn't care for were FRLG (too slow), BW (the region felt dull), DP (I made the mistake of playing it in JP first, and skipped too much text), and B2W2 (I was still bored of the region). I didn't give Platinum enough of a chance, though I absolutely love what gen IV and V did for competitive. Even if I didn't care for the main games.
I've put about 800 hours into X, 200 in Y, and 400 or so between playthroughs of ORAS. I can't get over how much I love this gen, and I'm even more excited for Sun/Moon. I just happen to love and hate the WRONG games to be on /vp/.
