Conkeldurr has never been OU worthy, not even in Gen 5. Took it long enough to drop.
Machamp is uncounterable, but slow speed and lack of Mach Punch or Drain Punch makes it very easy to wear down and check.

Smogon doesn't mean anything outside of that battle sim? Both are very good in battle spot singles, they can bait Talonflame, destroy Megakhan and can deal with a bunch of other threats.

Like, you sim guys do know how unviable smogon cookie cutter Pokemon are outside of smogon, right? The item clause and diffrent ban list makes two very different meta games.

BSS Player here and you're talking crap. I like BSS more but Talonflame is actually better in BSS since its fast KOs give a huge advantage to you in 3v3 and that BSS is plagued with most of Smogon's OU stuff. Most stuff that is missing is banned for being a Mythical/Box Legendary ie. Kyu-B, MDiancie and Keldeo

Smogon has Battle Spot as a tier too and Conk gets a B+ in their viability ranking. That's still pretty good ("Pokemon with notable flaws, who need team support, but their positives outweigh the negatives"), but nothing top tier, you're much better off using other stuff. Machamp isn't even ranked.

Do some research before you talk about shit you don't understand faggot.

I can see why they are UU in this gen. I was pointing out that ORAS UU is a tier full of very powerful pokemon. All of thoose pokemon were either OU or Uber since their creation and now they are very prominent threats in the UU metagame.

No, because Sylveon was never good in OU in the first place. Mach and Conk are outclassed by other fighting types and have a hard time fitting into the meta because their speed is so low.

While Talonflame might not be as centralizing as Mega Kangaskhan way back when, you can't ignore the fact that just Talonflame's presence in the meta is a major factor in keeping a lot of those Grass, Bug, and Fighting types out of OU. Just look at how often Talonflame is mentioned in the smogon analysis of UU and BL mons with OU sets.

Sylveon did drop to UU and it's pretty good there. Specs still breaks everything with Pixilate-boosted Hyper Voice and bulkier sets are really useful to keep Hydreigon and Salamence from destroying your team.

Overall, I think UU is the most fun smogon tier right now.

It helps with a decent amount of pokemon since a lot of people on Smogon don't bother to try out other tiers and don't know matchups
