Poliwrath is great and you'll need a surf/ waterfall mon. Also its an in game team. You could literally use any Pokemon in game and it will be fine.

I'd make an argument for Defiant or Vital Spirit Primeape over Lucario. Looking past the Special stat, they are relatively the same attack-wise.

A Pokemon that is resistant to sleep or Intimidate is nice for in-game runs if you ask me.

Next change is I'd swap out Pangoro for a Scrafty. I just think Scrafty does the job Pangoro does, but better.

Find a better physical water move as accessable and widespread as waterfall. There's crabhammer, aqua jet, and aqua tail, and all are weaker, have worse accuracy, or are more hard to find.

Well not counting legends in the case of Unova, the two seem to be the premier fighting types of their region and they are the respective aces of the region's fighting type specialist member of the elite four.

I don't know. They just feel like a notch above the other (pure) fighting types.

To actually remain on topic, OP would be well advised to switch Pangoro out. If he's doing a pure Fighting team, or as close to it as he can, he has no way to actually evolve Pancham.

The funny thing here is that Pancham and Pangoro actually CAN learn Surf, so if he's willing to temp sub in a Dark type he's set. Not that he can pull off a 100% fighting type run anyway because Chesnaught, but still.

You can get Gallade at 20. Chesnaught's a typical Starter evolution level but he still becomes Fighting.

Now, a Dragon team in XY would be feasible and easy to make since they're all Dragons form the start, unless you want to use Flygon or Kingdra.
