Regular feminists were the old school kinds that we call "Egalitarian" these days. They wanted full equality for both genders. Period. No special treatment because they were female, they just wanted equal pay, equal access to health care, and other obvious stuff everyone should have as a basic right. In short, not wingnuts: just regular people.
Radical feminists are a byproduct of a few wingnuts in the 70's who thought feminism wasn't enough and that women should be put on a pedestal. The political correctness meme of the 90's got out of hand as the years went by leading to the wingnuts taking over "feminism" for themselves.
I still love beating up the lass trainers. Female does not equal better. It's just a gender. Nothing more.
