Why was it chosen to be the lesser of the seaside exclusives? I like Clauncher, but Skrelp has the better design, arguably.

What are you talking about? How so? Dragalge is actually better than Clawitzer. Like far and away so if you mean how good it is. And even if it weren't why would it have been "Chosen" to be worse.

I always thought the name made more sense with gee but I felt like if that was the intention they'd have SPELT it like algae or made it ee like Dragalgee or something.

Anyway, unneeded pronunciation lesson aside.... Dragalge will always be leagues cooler to me than Clauncher. It's just kind of a generic-but-well-design shrimp with a gun arm. Eh.

And don't get me wrong either Clauncher's cool, it's just not for me. I like the piratey look to it and the Cthulhu mouth.

Both Dragalge and Clawitzer were some of the few good designs we got in gen 6.
