She didn't ask for any attention, make threats, threaten suicide, strip, or even give out an identity in the OP. All you know is that a boyfriend was getting a game. It wasn't until insistent prodding that she made herself known.
If it was a girlfriend getting a game, no one would have asked "are u a lesbian?? :0"
They would have kept walking and probably answered the question in 10 or less replies, or started a game war. Op would have never been questioned either way.
