I'm not involving animation because it's an unfair advantage (although BW had all the advantages of animation and still turned out to be even worse shit)
I'm saying the battle pacing is childish and unnatural, the side characters are burden and it's really annoying they're always shouting and announcing what their next move is going to be, and then give the command again...

I watched it around halfway because I stopped playing for a while, so once I bought Pearl, I got curious as to how the anime was handling the region, so I watched and found it dull and uninteresting. Better than RS because I couldn't stand that cunt kid, but still the characters felt like a shadow of themselves (well, Ash being stupider, and Brock being so condescending)
