Alright. I wanted to breed a shiny koffing because I like the blue and purple, I was breeding for iv's without any foreign parents. After about 47 eggs a shiny koffing hatched with 5 perfect iv's. Also caught a shiny Nidoran male in the safari zone playing fire red on the first ball.

I did the same with Chespin, back when gen VI was new. I quickly learned that trying to breed hidden ability shinies with matching balltism is hell when the gender ratio favors males. I finally hatched one on my half birthday, that was nice.

Now I'm considering breeding a shiny sheer force Feraligatr. I didn't learn my lesson apparently.

Very first shiny I ever found was a Meowth. Why didn't they make it something more noticeable, it's just a darker shade of cream.
