Well-designed evolutions for Rowlet with a final form that is at least somewhat viable. Owls are awesome, and Noctowl's poor battle capabilities have disappointed me for years. Rowlet is adorable and as a starter, who knows...if it gets tapped as the favorite son of the generation it could end up with some potential.

This has been on my mind for a long time:

So basically after defeating the Elite 4 and becoming champion, you'd still be able to take the "Elite 4 challenge", but now since you're champion you'd fight these really strong high-leveled trainers instead. And if you lose to one of them, you then have to re-plow through the Elite 4 like the first time.

Just imagine it though, intense speeches from trainers who went through a different but equally difficult journey as you, all in the hopes of taking you, the champion, down.

Besides the obvious (longevity, replayability without having to restart, it's usually more challenging than the main story, etc) I would add that there are 721 pokemon and during the story you get to use at most 10-15 plus their evolutions.

They have such a rich world of pokemon, moves and abilities and then you only get 10 hours of gameplay and nothing to do with all that afterwards.

I don't understand how there are 700+ pokemon yet while playing X Y it feels like it's closer to 200 at most. Trainers use the same ones with NO variety....there'a a TAD bit more with ORAS surprisngingly...but it's still shit.

They need to mix more types for the sake of variety and options with movesets

The fact that Gen 6 had Heliosk and Pyroar be part normal was great

And it looks like Koala will follow the trend of being both normal and grass but i could be wrong and judging too easily

That's only on the Wii U version, not the 3ds version.
With a n3ds you can use the latest release of NTR and use video streaming if your wifi is good enough and if you're on 10.7 or below and willing to downgrade.

XY/ORAS EXP Share is just too easy, you can keep your starter in the first slot and not wipe the game with ease. If it were anything like the terribly inefficient EXP All in RBY it wouldn't be a problem, but it isn't. There's literally no downside to it when every other party member gets 50%.

I saw in another thread that a good way to do champion is to incorporate the rematches into it.

So as Champion you have to face five challengers or something at a time comprised at random from Gym Leaders. your rivals, elite 4 and then "best potential" of each trainer class.

All would be randomly selected but levels would be bout the same

In generation 5, you could visit your friends' pokémon games and play different games. For example, your friend could hide somewhere in his/her game and you had like 5 minuters to find him/her.

I actually think that this was a really fun addition to the game and I hope this or something similar will be in Pokémon SM.

Other things I want includes:
>over 100 new pokémons
>cross gen evos
>not many legendaries
>mega flygon, porygon-z, exeggutor, hydregion, lapras, chandelure, arcanine
>new dual typings
>dark type gym
>pokemon following you (will not happen)
>going back to an old region (will not happen either)
>remove hidden machines
>soar in the sky instead of fly
>rematch gym leaders
>underwater region
>new clothing
>battle frontier
>PWT
>change battle themes
>old safari zone
>rival like silver or N
>great story
>a good post-game
>and a freaking DOLPHIN POKEMON
