Did anybody actually own this back in the day? I remember seeing it at the store and just shitting my pants. I nagged my parents for it and they caved, got home and popped that sucker into my walkman, only to be sorely dissapointed. I thought, "what the hell are these songs and why are they in here".
Of course, I now realise that most of those non-Pokemon tracks had been desperately crammed into the credits and that's what had given them an excuse to put them in the soundtrack. But at the time I didn't even recognize them (save for We're a Miracle by Christina Aguilara, that made a huge impression on me, I guess since it was the first(?) song that played in the credits.)
Fast forward to today, though, I fucking love it and listen to it frequently because nostalgia, goddammit.
