>>26902825This. It's the same with Team Plasma's plan, I have seen so many people say that their plan was to liberate Pokemon and that they were the Pokemon version of PETA when that isn't right at all.
Ghetsis wanted to rule over Unova with an iron fist and manipulated his entire team and his own son just so no one would be able to stop him from achieving his goal since he would be the only one using Pokemon. He didn't actually care about Pokemon, he just wanted world domination. People saying they're the PETA of the Pokemon world clearly paid no attention to the story whatsoever and its exactly the same with Team Flare's plan.
People say that Lysandre wanted the world to be beautiful, and yeah while that isn't right it also isn't entirely wrong. Lysandre wanted to control the population of the world by erasing a vast majority of humanity and every single Pokemon from existence through the use of the Ultimate Weapon, all he wanted was to have a world without corruption, war, and the ugliness that humanity brings to the world. So yes he did want a more beautiful world but not how you think. In fact he actually brought up a lot of good points with his goal because a majority of humanity is corrupt and makes the world an ugly place to live in.
