Since we're pretty much getting the evil team in SM revealed this Friday, what do you guys think their name will be? What will they be based upon?

I honestly don't want them to reveal the villian team. It would be a great surprise to have them introduced to us when going into these games.

But since they'll obviously release artwork and info about them, so Team Splash is the name Im going with. They're based on painters and artist with a colorful art scheme, kinda like Burgh's gym in BW2. They can have white lab coats and paint spots all over them.

Team Eclipse
They're based off creatures of the night like the boss is dressed like a Vampire, the admins are a Wearwolf, Frankenstien and Mummy while the grunts are all called Monsters
They use dark, ghost, and poison types

The plot of the game centers around an upcoming Harmonic Convergence where Solgaleo and Lunala arrive on earth while all the planets are alligned. The team want to capture the legendaries and harvest them for an elixir called Azoth, and cause a permanent eclipse

Willing to bet it'll be like RSE with two teams, depending on the version. Team solar and lunar? Maybe they try to keep it always day or night by destroying the sun or moon using the legendaries

No matter what it is, I have no doubt that it'll be type-themed again, like Team Flare was. So another pun on one of the types - maybe they'll go with Grass-types this time because Magma and Aqua and Flare already exist. Team Rose, maybe?

It's probably either gonna be space-themed (Rocket, Galactic, Plasma) or type themed (Magma, Aqua, Flare)

If it's space themed, I'm going with Team Eclipse. They probably have some weird plan involving plunging the world into eternal night or blocking out the sun.

If they're type themed, I'm kinda hoping they're poison themed. Team Smog, maybe? They could be pollution based in some way, threatening Alola's natural beauty and all that.
