A kid isn't going to put two-and-two together and think "Railgun" and likely neither is the good ol' american mom. Jumper cables are a much friendlier and more grounded place to claim inspiration from.
I'm not denying that Railgun is a possibility, I'm just acknowledging that Jumper Cables actually make a lot of sense
