Comparatively, Lunala has those dangling star things, is covered in cresents (GUYS BECAUSE THE MOON CAN BE A CRESENT, GUYS DO YOU GET IT????), and is a skeleton thing for some reason.
Solaleo or whatever looks like it's some sort of weird astronaut robot thing, with an avocado tail, a big moustache, a robot mask thing, and orange gem things.
Tapu Koko just looks fucking stupid more than anything else. It has a gigantic mohawk, three "legs" with a tail, those shoulder ring things, and then there's the shield protruding solely from its wrists, which is actually a cartoon chick, with a beak (which are actually its hands).
I don't really care much about the other starters one way or another, but Litten really stands out as a generic animu cutesy cat without anything really fire-related besides having red details.
