>>26945991Maybe it's just what I want to believe, but I feel like there's already greater variety when it comes to types. Because of the low overall number of all-new Kalos Pokémon, we only got a few Pokémon for each type, and whatever types were shared by multiple evolution families were mostly paired with a second type so they could still have some variety.
Hell, we only got one new Bug-type family in X/Y, and this time we already have two. It's not much to go by, but it makes me hopeful.
