>>26955527>GF somehow struggles to get 30 frames with two PokemonThe problem is GF made retardedly high poly count models, probably because they were using the 3DS Pokedex program as a basis (though it never did get a Gen VI update, did it?). The other problem is they insist upon trying to mimic the arc directly while having pretty low-tier textures. The 3DS isn't going to be spitting out the best things, but it could probably due better with a bit more focus on meshing the design aesthetic with system.
These combine to result in models that have huge amounts of polygons, upping the rendering load, that don't really benefit on 3DS screen and shitty textures that make the models looks like they're less than they are. So the framerate ends up tanking, despite it not "looking like" it should really be doing so poorly.
