>>26957534This is what pisses me off about these discussions. The fucking clams who bitch and moan about this don't know how models work.
To those reading: a model is comprised of multiple parts. There's the mesh (that's the shape of the model), the texture (that's how it's colored and how the shading works on it), and the animations (that's how it moves).
You can change any one of those without destroying or restarting the entire models. Saying "We deserve new models!" is fucking stupid, because it implies you expect them to make all three pieces over again. Which is retarded.
The meshes are excellent, almost unanimously. The problem is some of the textures (and that's even more of a color problem than a pattern problem, and tweaking that is 10 minutes in Photoshop and a quick import) and a handful of animations (which are a bit more work, but all of the rigs are done [that being the "bones" that help you move the model around], so reposing them into new animations is fairly easy as well).
In short, they can fix the problems everyone has with some tweaks to the exisiting models. They don't need all new ones. That would be retarded.
