>>26958068Except Fairy didn't even exist before the split. And you can't say Fairy would definitely be Special because just look at Dark: only 1 Special Attacker when it debuted (Houndoom) and all pre-existing moves became Physical, yet it was considered a Special type.
If it debuted in Gen 1 and Play Rough was the only attack it may have been considered Physical like Ghost and Lick.
