Pokemon Battle Revolution essentially had N64 graphics on it because GF couldnt be bothered to update the models for a simple wii game. Its not like they had the excuse that it was a full pokemon adventure, it was just a way to battle with your pokemon in 3D on the big screen.
SM shows we will most likely be stuck with the same animations of X and Y, which means tiny ass Wailord and awful flying Xatu will stick with us for god knows how long.
