I'm so happy I don't play competitive. I play single player with all my favorite pokemon all the time. Never for a second do I feel like I can't make a pokemon work. I never beg for new evos or megas either. I want my pokemon to stay as-is for posterity.

Arbok has always been useless, sadly. I try to use it as a physical utility wall because Intimidate forces a switch to some SpA psychic or ground type which usually doesn't appreciate Glare. But it's just so shitty statwise.

Run a fast set and high attack, jolly nature

Rock Polish should already boost your speed high enough unless they are using choice specs or priority

Stone Edge and earthquake destroys everything, fire punch for coverage or sucker punch for priority that isn't extreme speed and fake out
