>>26984569Ah, thank you, someone who I can properly talk with. Oh and I wasn't specifically just pinpointing Snivy, but its line, I just wrote that wrong. But there are so many people who specifically see them as feminine looking, guess I can't blame them? To each their own. But the Snivy line, at least how I view it, looks more as if from royalty, which fits, since it's a very proud pokemon. At the very least, I can see Braixen having slight hints, but asides from that, it seems ambiguous in certain design details. Of course there are situations regarding
female Emboars, which can be hilarious, but it still makes some sort of sense, given the male to female ratio.
And I wouldn't mind a siren or mermaid like evolution, but the one in this leak just shoves ambiguity to the side and forgets ambiguity ever existed. As in, if you were ever to get a male Poppmaid, you wouldn't believe it to be male in any way unless you checked upon its gender. The long flowy hair, the starfish as earrings overlapping or erasing the ears, using bubbles as barrettes, the completely obvious feminine eyelashes, the head veil. You'd have to be crazy to completely admit this can also be a male pokemon while leaving room to ponder whether it is. It is possible to make a mermaid/siren pokemon without it looking entirely female, but making it look it can be either male or female.
Heck, I've even heard of some people talking about this design and restarting every time just to make sure they'd get a female.
