They missed the point of Pokémon entirely. There's no pvp and trading is going to be patched in way later.
The directors clearly never cared about Pokémon.
But after I, along with many many other people, complained and argued forever about the lack of nicknames, the fact that it was catch and release, the no real sense of "having a bro" was really disappointing and discouraging. They wasted millions of dollars into this.
However, I'm giving them a chance because they changed it. They patched it, fixed and added features that people argued for. That's something a good dev would do, and as a game dev myself I feel like the least you could do is give them a chance by playing their free to install game.
I feel like, just for once, I'm going to just go in with an open mind. I suggest you do the same.
