Why is nobody talking about this?
The canon names of the mc's are sun/moon. The last time the characters had names of the edition was gsc. Does that mean, we will probably go back to the roots?!

Also people on treehouse answered the question 'how many challenges you need to do to get champ' with the number 7

Those names are not directly from the game dumbass. Red and Green are literally from the Game Title. That hasnt been done since the originals.

and in the treehouse gameplay you can see also Selene and Helio , those are all unofficial names like Xavier/Yvonne, Orlando and... the other thingi

The names Sun and Moon for the main characters are most likely place holder names like how they called the male player Orlando in all the promotional images and videos for ORAS, or Xavier for all the promotion for XY.
