Already off to a great start. I can't wait to play the 7th gen meta. I hope they keep adding more abilities that give more team diversity.

>a way to cause inverse rules. Either an ability or move so that ice/grass/bug become powerful options to build around.

These abilities have potential, but what I'm really most excited about thus far is that GF is so focused on new abilities. Most of Gen 6's new abilities were exclusively hidden abilities or given just to Megas.

Conformist: Moves against this pokemon aren't modified by opponents ability or item (e.g. Aerilate Double Edge is a 120 Normal-type attack)
Parasite: Cuts opponents healing (moves Leftovers,...) in half, you get 50%
Assessment: Opponent loses STAB against this pokemon
>No more cancer, all playstyles have solid countermeasures

They banned Shadowtag Gothitelle, and Hoopa-U was banned for being too strong against most playstyles, not just stall.

Shadowtag destroyed stall by trapping anything weak to one of its moves and then tricking away a scarf to cripple one last thing.

The only teams Hoopa-U absolutely tore apart were stall teams seeing as they were to slow to hit it and too weak to one shot it.

Tell us again how smogon doesn't like its precious stall.

Goth was used on a lot fo stall teams, and Hoopa U was strong as fuck against Balance.

I hate stall too, and while Smogon tries to keep all playstyles viable, it doesn't have a bias for stall.

Just the shadow tag ability to ubers. Gothitelle is still able to be used. Perish trap was being used for this, not that it's impossible to recreate in lower tiers.
