The most broken thing I can think of would be an ability that reverses all type efficiency and turns the battle into an inverse battle as long as it is active.

Yeah. It makes sense for pokemon like zubat and ekans since they're flesh and blood creatures and venomous animals can still be poisoned. But how do you poison something like a garbodor or muk, which is basically made of poison?

Immolation- allows the user to burn Fire types

Freezing Body- chance of freezing the foe on contact, from either side (an ice version of Poison Point + Poison Touch)

Dragonforce- allows Dragon moves to hit Fairy types

Paranormal- allows Ghost moves to hit Normal types

Spirit Gate- 20% chance of Destiny Bond's effect when the user faints

Protective Stance- permanent Wide Guard

Grounded- allows Electric moves to damage Ground types

Omnivore- hazards heal the user, and then are removed from battle; Leech Seed is also absorbed for HP

Except every move being inverted is already a feature in the game that was implimented, so it's not too complicated for the youngsters if it already got approved. An ability would just turn battles starring that Pokemon into the same kind of battles already in the game.

Parasyte - The pokemon steals the HP recovery of the opponent
Amnesia - The pokemon stat changes/status condition resets after every turn
Last Word - The pokemon will execute its move even if it faints/it's switched out by Roar, etc.

Here is how you fix Freeze status:

>50% chance to thaw out every turn
OR:
>thaw out once you switch out

This way, if you Freeze someone, you might get a chance to set up, and if you get Frozen, you have a way to fix it

Am ability that gives all +0 priority damaging moves +2 priority but halves their BP. Maybe give it to Rowlet as its hidden ability. The flaw of this is that this hits all attacking moves, which essentially means you'll never have more than 60 BP moves.

It doesn't say explicitly "it can't still fight normally while asleep," because that would be a bit odd to have to point out. If that's how Comatose worked, they would've said so specifically. Comatose just makes it so the only status that affects it is Sleep. And probably Confusion, because it's never really counted as a Status like the others.
