The first couple days were full of hype, just stop spamming the catalog with so many threads.

If you don't like the general here there is always /vg/, who usually goes more in depth with their discussions, has better information in their OP's, and with a 750 post bump limit creates and atmosphere for longer discussion.

The fandom is possibly the worst it's ever been, with legions of "oh hey I played Pokémon Yellow once 15 years ago I'm such a nerd!" normalfags reappearing after dormance.

If this stays as popular as it is and the hype doesn't die down this is going to be objectively bad for the quality of future games. Prepare to see Genwun pandering that makes XY look like BW1.
