Got a question for you guys about the battle chateau in ORAS.

so I just started the battle resort on my omega ruby and it seems that the trainers in the super battles are made to directly counter the pokemon you chose to enter. is it true or am I just paranoid?

first time in super singles:
>I use tentacruel, Gliscor and Aggron
>First opponent has a rampardos with water damage reduction berry, nidoqueen to absorb toxic spikes and a bisharp with low sweep .

I go in a second time.
>I use aggron, Chesnaught and Umbreon
>first opponent has pyroar, weavile and Ambipom
