is downloading and playing pokemon go from an appstore from another country even forbidden? i've been curious and did some research, and all i found were articles explaining how to switch countries, but not if it's allowed. all i know is, that you cant buy stuff, but you can download free apps.
I have read parts of the terms and conditions of the US appstore: http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/us/terms.html
and those of pokemon go: https://www.nianticlabs.com/terms/pokemongo/en
the only things that sounds interesting were the following (irst appstore, second pokemon go terms):
>g. You may not use or otherwise export or re-export the Licensed Application except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensed Application was obtained. In particular, but without limitation, the Licensed Application may not be exported or re-exported (a) into any U.S.-embargoed countries or (b) to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals List or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons List or Entity List. By using the Licensed Application, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any such country or on any such list.
>please search for "Purchases by End Users Outside the U.S.", otherwise my comment gets too long.
i live in germany, and my english is kinda rusty, but could someone tell me, if this is relevant to the topic?
i just think, that if liantic bans people, these people should have done something against their terms and conditions. What do you think?
