>>27084677I guess that was a pretty weird way to put it, but that doesn't deny the fact that people who have not been spoiled won't end up confused if something of this does happen. If they like it, they'll just so happen to use it regardless of gender or just entirely box it if that's not what they intended to pick. Kids who probably picked Popplio hoping for something entirely different and don't realize they might get this will end up disappointed, if this is not their cup of tea.
>>27084685Milotic is elegant, yes, but it's still quite ambiguous, nothing about it exactly screams "it's a girl" other than maybe its eye style. It's a majestic sea creature.
>>27084688All I know is, for the last generations, from the moment genders were introduced to the franchise to nowadays, the male ratio has always been superior than the female one IIRC. Doesn't mean obtaining a female is impossible. Not sure if they would change that either, either to a 50-50 ratio or something else.
>>27084696It used to be ambiguous until people just started associating it as being majorly female.
>Burr it has hips>It's femalePeople need to search up fennec foxes more. The Chikorita line, besides having flowers associated with it, doesn't exactly scream "GIRL!!1" either.
>>27084707Okay, you proved me wrong, but Mr. Mime isn't exactly a starter either nor is he a option we are forced to pick.
Although I'm unsure why Game Freak never bothered giving female Mr. Mimes a "Ms. Mime" nickname. Literally just a letter, not that polemic. And I also realize plenty of pokemon who just so happen to be possible to get a female of, but mostly look masculine as fuck. Like the Machop line, although there are female body builders.
