A flower is planted which after two turns, blooms and bursts, to inflict massive damage on all Pokemon in play.

The Pokemon who used the move, and that Pokemon's partner, receive much less damage, to reduce the risk.

Switching out will only change which Pokemon get damaged; there is no way to avoid the burst, other than using protect, etc.

Initially, the protection granted by the shield is substantial; basically useless on it's own.

But, if either Pokemon use water type moves, the shield's effects will be boosted. Stronger moves like Hydro Pump will really boost the shield's effect.
The shield's effects can also be boosted through the use of rain dance, water sport, etc.
After significant boosting, this shield becomes the most useful reflector in the game, but of course, requires some set up.
Probably quite cumbersome to use in the wrong circumstances.

This is WAY too long and convoluted to EVER use, even in game not even speaking about how worthless this is in competitive. Youre suggesting a move that takes turns to set up, when this really wont even be viable unless your team is 100% water based.
