>>27094156>>27094261>>27099271>>27100297Well I think Gen V could be the best Series in the Franchise, if they would have decided to do it after Gen VI. Now literally everyone is just feeling overhelmed with the old pokemon and undwehelmed with the amount of new pokemon. While we had always a good ratio of old mons vs new mons each gen, Gen V had too much new mons, which probably scared the fans.
Especially many of them just are desing-wise to different from the older gens. I can´t say why, but they feel to different. Also who the fucking hell thought a round region would be any good?!
The first time I saw the Map in BW I just thought...wow really? I just have go around the circle? I mean of course every region is very linear, but the others at least hid it a little bit. Hoenn e.g. was also a good example for the structure of a region. e.g. after the 4th badge you could just jump of hills to go back, you could go through the cave to go to rustboro city.
Overall gen V lacked of a good Region map, Region itself (especially) BW2 had enough to explor! And it had to much new Pokemon with a way different artstyle. But it is funny, how now I would love to have a Gen 5 like game, with only new mons, while I didn´t like the game that much while I played it the first time. Now after finals I want to play the games correctly and take my time with it :)
