Hell no Nintendo will keep making Home Consoles even if the NX fails. Handhelds Consoles tho, i think this is it for them. I can't honestly see an 9th Generation of Consoles with Dedicated Handheld Consoles, Sony already gave up and i think its Nitendo's turn to do it. Only thing stopping them is the the Main Pokemon Games, i mean they need to put it on soemthing

It's always sad when companies abandon their long time fans for the mercurial mobile casuals with no loyalty who will just all flock to the newest shiny thing while the company goes bankrupt trying to recapture them. Seen it too many times before. If it happens to Nintendo, I will basically be fucked

I personally think it would be cool if Nintendo entered the smartphone market. I mean, it won't happen and it would be a terrible idea, but I still would love to rep a nintendo smartphone.

They might not. I think they've burned too many bridges for the nx to fail. I feel like very few people will trust nintendo if they buy yet another console with nothing but some first party games, which have been getting worse and worse for the most part.

Why would they give up handhelds? They generate too much money for Nintendo to drop. The handheld market and mobile market do differ despite the similarities between the devices.

Youre talking like pokemon company can only focus on one project/market at one time. THeir breadwinner will alwAys be the Main games/remakes , if anything GO is just a pet project they can shut down in a few months

I would like to belive the same cause i just bought a 3ds and want to see handheld gaming alive but lets be honest here. Mobile has taken over. Only reason to care for a nintendo handheld is pokmeon and MH
