I've never seen such a cringe worth, self loathing, deluded and hot-topic tier of individuals as I have on this board since Pokemon Go came out.

All of you seem to just despise the idea that the thing that you love, and feel uncomfortable about loving, is now popular again, but in a simpler and more socially acceptable manner.

I have never hidden, or felt or acted embarrassed about being an adult who still likes Pokemon. I'm no bro or bar hopper, but I am a normal functioning adult with plenty of diverse friends and a beautiful girlfriend, no one gives a shit if you aren't a pushover beta.

This entire board is overrun with toxic shitty posts about "normies" and how awful Go is.

Yeah, it's not a normal Pokemon game, or even really a game with much depth. But it's really neat! It's fun and it gets to walking outside and more importantly it gets my friends, many of which, most of which do not play or have never played Pokemon, to get into it!

Almost every person I know is playing this game, and I love it. I know they don't know anything past gen one. I know they will stop playing after the hype dies down. I know they aren't "real" fans like you. But I DON'T CARE. It's awesome sharing my hobby with them even if it's in a different way.

I know that the AR feature isn't really catching a monster in the wild, but it fucking RULES getting as close as it does. This is closer to anything than we've gotten to reliving the glory days of talking about Mew under the truck and trading via link cable and dealing with Missingno.

Why don't you just lighten up, get off the computer and GO OUTSIDE! It's fun!
