>>27106479Seeing as the 3D overworld has been upgraded from those chibi models they used in XY, and the trainers now are the same size both in and out of battle, I think it's actually quite safe to assume we might get it some time in the near future. Maybe not Gen 8, but certainly before Gen 10. All they have to do is give the battle models walking animations.
