It's a cheap game with "gameplay" any moron can pick up and play.
Yeah it's "trending" on social media, but that's just because it's an official Pokemon game available on smartphones for free.
Eventually the novelty of it will wear off and all the normies will forget about it by the time Sun and Moon come out.
>>27120033>>27120204The problem isn't that it's "pokemon in the real world". That part is fine, in concept. The problem is that it's barely a pokemon game at all. It takes no effort to actually catch pokemon other than "lol exercise, so hard" and the "pokemon battles" are a joke.
I don't have a problem with pokemon spin-offs, as I've enjoyed both Rangers and Mystery Dungeon, but at-least those presented some sort of challenge other than "nerds leaving their cave".
If they want this game to last past the hype, they need to completely overhaul it.
