Did this gen really need TWO pikaclones? At least Plusle and Minun looked like a proper pair, this time around we've got a hedgehog and a literal copy-paste completely non-suspicious copy of Pikachu. They're truly running out of ideas.

It's because they're creatively bankrupt. They just took a Pikachu and then made it Ghost/Fairy for some reason. What the fuck? Look at this thing, it is 100% just a Pikachu, they didn't even change anything.

What exactly are the rules to a pika-clone? Some people consider Pichu a Pika-clone but not Marill and others consider the exact opposite to be the case.

My definition is simply that it's supposed to evoke similarities to Pikachu, but it isn't actually Pikachu.
