Hello 4chan users! I'm 23 years old, and I have never played a Pokemon game in my life. Until I picked up Pokemon GO and I was HOOKED! I can't believe this is what I've been missing! What other Pokemon games can you recommend? Are they all as good as GO?

No, you dumbass. If you really want to start in Kanto (I do not recommend, but to each their own), start with FireRed / LeafGreen. The graphics are less shit, and it's less broken balance and bug wise.

Is that really a surprise? Pokemon is all about menus, items, sprites/models that barely move, and reading NPC dialogue to figure out how to travel around, all while a bunch of complicated and weird moves, stats, types, and mechanics are being thrown around. Pokemon may be casual AF most of the time, but it's a game for gamers. Pokemon Go is a game for non-gamers. It's gonna appeal to millions more people.
