While extremely dedicated and fanatics will go on and still be reaching above and beyond (probably around 35~) normies will get BTFO when they just can't compete at gyms and have all caught 145 pokemon available.

And each team will probably get their legendary, for 146, but otherwise, the game is doomed to be a fad.
