Sorry, but while I like the concept, the execution has been terrible in my opinion. The only way my opinion will change is if they reworked things going forward, and like I said in my original post, there's no chance of that happening so I'm SOL on that front.

I'm not sure. People say Megas aren't mentioned because they're no longer hot shit, but I think that, if they weren't important they'd have a passing mention by now.

Either Megas have gone through a massive change they want to hide, or they're gone.

And even then, they could announce Megas without saying the change.

I didn't like most of the designs, and I didn't like how they changed the general flow of battle. I liked how it gave some Pokemon (mostly mawile) more attention, but as a whole it felt very "jumping the shark" and kinda off-brand.

You are retarded. Megas destroyed online MP in gen 6 because you can't reliably counter shit like M-Salamence in 3v3 or 4v4 doubles. Look at how stupidly centralized the VGC meta became by the end of the gen.

I recognize that GF isn't going to let all of those assets go to waste or piss off the children who loved mega evos, but at this point there is really no argument that megas were the worst thing to happen to this game since hidden abilities.
