I like it. I think its easily the most aesthetic starter of gen 5 (like thats hard to do) and due to Contrary he's the best competitively.

switched my Servine with a Maractus in W2 and never looked back. I do like Serperior though, I have that distributed one with the hidden ability, wouldn't be adverse to breeding it.

Pros:
-Majestic design
-Has Contrary as it's Hidden Ability.
-Can know a STAB move to take full advantage of said Hidden Ability.
-Nice Speed stat.
-Usable form of recovery.

Cons:
-Barebones special movepool.
-Has to run specific IVs to run a specific Hidden Power.
-Attacking stats aren't all that high.

competitibely it isn't the strongest, but it has it's place. it literally does not matter what you use in-game because it's a piss easy kids game.

if you think the game is remotely difficult regardless of which pokemon you use you need to flip that gun round ASAP
